| The end of the year banquet will be May 26th @ 6:00pm in McLaughlin Park. Freshmen and Sophomores are responsible for a side and a 2 liter. Juniors need to bring chips and a 2 liter. Seniors need to bring a dessert and a 2 liter.

| Varsity and JV will both be leaving at 12:45 on Thursday. Please encourage your son to bring all of his equipment and uniform to school with him that morning. They will not have enough time to run home. Varsity will be playing at the field behind Prairie Hills Middle School and the JV will be playing at Rice Park in Hutch. Rice park is located in the Northwest part of Hutch.

| Try-outs begin next week.
Try-outs will begin on Monday February 28th. We will have two-a-days on Monday and Tuesday only. Morning practices will begin at 6:15AM in the North Gym at the HS. All afternoon practices will start at 3:15PM at the baseball field behind the MS. Try-outs will conclude after practice on Wednesday. We will post this year's team around 6:30 PM on Wednesday evening.

Tryouts are less than a week away! Just a little reminder that your son must have a physical and the appropriate paperwork (can be found in the athletic office at the HS) filled out and turned in by this Friday (Feb. 25th) so he can practice Monday morning.

| The games tonight @ Ark City have been cancelled. Varsity games only have been rescheduled for Monday May 3rd @ Ark City. At this time the JV games vs Ark City have not been rescheduled. JV will still play Hutch @ home on Monday May 3rd as scheduled.

| The varsity game today will be played at Dean Evans stadium and the JV games will be played at Matson Field in Salina. The complex is on the far east side of Salina. If you take the Crawford St exit off 135 and head east you will eventually get there! The fields are located on the old air strip by the golf course (south side of the road). Matson (JV field) will be the first field on the left and Dean Evans is the last field on the air strip down at the south end.

| Because of the wonderful Kansas weather the times of our evening practices are still up in the air for next week. With the basketball teams still practicing,gyms are still being used. | Baseball season has arrived!
Tryouts will be held beginning on Monday March 1st and run through Wednesday March 3rd. Pitchers and Catchers will practice Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings as well. Those practices are for ONLY pitchers and catchers. They will begin @ 6:00am and be done around 7:15. |
